[Kane]

[On the train, going to Romania to study under Dr. Oberth...]

Kane: *sitting on the edge of her bunk, leaning against the frame but keeping both of her feet on the ground, staring at nothing in particular*

Alfons: *dreaming, makes a bit of a face and rolls over, pauses and fidgets slightly, rolls once again aaaand....* -kerplop!- *falls off the side of the bed, brushing against Ed's shoes when he does* !! *scrambles into a bit of an upright sitting position, blinking to wake up, rather like o0*

Ed: Ah! -00, drops book off of his lap- Alfons! Are you okay? -oo-

Kane: *blinks and flinches back slightly in surprise, staring a bit at Al* .. -oo-

Alfons: Huh? *looks quickly from Kane to Ed* Y..yeah...-oo- .......*looks up at his bunk, then at the ground, rubs his head* ........did I just...fall out of the bunk...? -blushes slightly-

Ed: -scrambles to pick his book back up but tosses it aside- I think you did -stilloo- Are you sure you're okay?

Kane: ...*bites her lip* -tryingnottolaugh-

Alfons: ....-blinkblinkallAlphonselike- ....other than a bit surprised I just fell out of a bunk im fine...*looks back at Ed* did I hit you?

Ed: A little I think...-small laugh-..Nothing major.

Alfons: ...*gives a small smile* alright..so long as I didnt hit you...*gives a bit of a chuckle* thats the only thing that matters.

Kane: -canthelpit- *begins to laugh some, tries muffling the sound by covering her hand with her mouth*

Ed: -bit surprised-....-looks over at Kane-....-big grin, but holds his hand out to help Alfons up- I'm fine

Alfons: *takes his hand and stands* ...-sound..?- *looks over at Kane* ...-oo- ....-Kanelaughingdoesnotcompute- ....*gives a smile* thats the first time I think I've heard you laugh, Kane....

Kane: *flushes some, bites her lip to quiet the sound* ...well uh..-small grin- ...it was funny....

Ed: -still grinning, reaches over and ruffles her hair gently- yeah...

Alfons: *smile grows some* well...it wasnt intentional...thats for sure. *puts his hands in his pocket* but...you should laugh more....its a nice sound. -justbecausesherarelylaughsXD-

Kane: ...*smiles some at Ed's touch and leans towards his hand, flushing at Alfons' comment* ....I uh...Im sure I will...

Ed: -glances at Alphonse before looking back at Kane- I agree..

Kane: ...*flushes a bit deeper, looks at Ed* ....-embarassedbythat,doesntknowwhy- ....I er....definitely will...-ifyoulikeitc:-


Ed: -strokes his hand over her hair lightly before pulling it back-...

Kane: *looks at him when he pulls his hand back and smiles softly* -shelikesthatXD-

Alfons: *looks between the two of them and smiles, too, before straightening to adjust the sheets from his fall*

Ed: -looks back at Alfons- You sure you're not hurt?

Alfons: *looks down at him while adjusting the sheets, gives a smile* positive, thanks ^^

Ed: Good, that was quite the fall -small laugh-

Alfons: well...at least it wasnt higher ^^'

Kane: *holds her smile before pushing herself off of the bed, walks over and sits lightly next to Ed, watching Alfons*

Ed: -looks over at Kane, smiles-..Yeah, at least ^^

Alfons: *nods and puts his hands in his pocket, watches them for a moment* If you need me, I'll be in the dining car. I heard someone on the way in saying they had good rolls, so I think I'll look into that ^^

Ed: Uhm, okay...

Alfons: *nods and walks out, closing the door quietly behind him*

Kane: *watches him go before looking at Ed for a moment and leaning over, gently resting her head on his shoulder*

Ed: -snakes his arm around her waist, smiling-

Kane: *smiles and gently kisses his jaw* I could have sworn I'd laughed at least once around him...-tinybitofhumor-

Ed:....Maybe a tiny one -grins-

Kane: *blushes* 's not like I dont laugh often...*blinks* is it? -shedoesntrealizesherarelylaughs-

Ed: Well...you sorta don't

Kane: ...*flushes* ...really? I dont..?

Ed: No, not much..

Kane: ...*blinks again* ...thats news to me...*gives a small, somewhat embarassed smile* I...probably should more often...

Ed: ..I think you should -smiles-

Kane: *nods some* y..yeah...*smiles back* cant be healthy not to...

Ed: I'm certain it can't be ^^

Kane: -small chuckle- you're probably right...

Ed: I think so -grins-

Kane: *gives him a small kiss again* you generally are...

Ed: -kisses her temple- I am -laughs-

Kane: *lightly rests her hand against his jaw and moves her thumb slightly, smiling softly at him*

Ed: -tilts her head up and kisses her lips softly-

Kane: -!- *blushes and and kisses him back gently*

Ed: Mm..-smiles, kissing her slowly for a moment before moving back-

Kane: *blushes a bit when he pulls back, looks up at him and gives him a soft smile, moving her thumb gently against his cheek*

Ed: -smiles and kisses the bridge of her nose-

Kane: *blushes slightly again and makes a small sound comparable to a giggle* you make me blush so easily...*grins some* -nobodyelsedoesc:-

Ed: -grins as well- Good, I like it when you blush...

Kane: *nuzzles him* I guess I can tolerate it in that case *smiles*

Ed: That's good ^^-smiles-

Kane: *moves her hand past his temple and gently runs her fingers through his bangs* ... -afterabit- Im glad I could come on this trip with you....*smiles* I dont know what I would have done without you for so long...

Ed: I'm glad you could come, too...I would have missed you so much..

Kane: I dont think I would have been able to stand it...I do know I'd keep every letter you sent, though ^^

Ed: -blushes a little-..That's sweet..

Kane: *smiles at his blush* well, its true...

Ed: You only say that because you're sweet -smiles-

Kane: *drops her hand to his lap and leans her head against his shoulder* only for you...

Ed: -nuzzles her gently <3- Then I'm lucky..

Kane: -Ithinkyoucoulddobetterthanme,but..thatsamazingtohear<3- *moves her hand around his waist and pulls herself a bit closer to give him a one-armed-hug*

Ed: -hugs her against himself gently, smiling softly, gives a content sigh-

Kane: you know...*laughs quietly* if I hadnt been able to come, I would have tried to run to your arms once you returned -<3-

Ed:..You wouldn't have had to run..

Kane: I wouldnt have had to, no..but I would have wanted to. *smiles some*

Ed: -smiles softly-...I understand

Kane: *leans against him slightly* I wouldve missed you so much....

Ed: I'm glad you don't have to..

Kane: So am I...*gently rubs his side* wouldve been painful.

Ed: It would have been...I hate to miss someone...

Kane: Me, too...but now we can study and get the most from this amazing opportunity together...*smiles*

Ed: Yeah...-thinks a moment-...Este o onoare sa...studieze in Romania ...

Kane: *smiles some and nods* yeah...it is...*continues to gently rub his side* lucky for us that you're better with languages than I am, otherwise we'd be in a bit of a fix....^^

Ed: Well, if anyone speaks more than about a syllable at a time I'm gonna be lost ^^'

Kane: *laughs a little* I dont believe that...you do just fine with German ^^ -unlessmyuncletalksatlike345678765milesanhourbutsh-

Ed: I had months to learn German, I haven't had nearly so long with Romanian

Kane: that was still great ^^

Ed: Was probably just luck ^^'

Kane: Doubtful...*pecks his jaw gently* You're probably going to wind up teaching me within the month ^^

Ed: I hope I know it well enough to order /lunch/ within the month -laughs-

Kane: *laughs, too* you will be, Im sure...

Ed: Let's hope ^^'

Kane: -doesntneedtohope,alreadyknows<3- Yeah...

Ed: -tilts his head to kiss her temple again before stomach growls suddenly-......>>

Kane: *looks at him and blinks in slight surprise before laughing* if you were hungry, you shouldve said something ^^ I wouldnt have kept you.

Ed: -small laugh- Guess I didn't really realize

Kane: *grins and kisses him before sitting back slightly* well, you should eat something since youre hungry ^^

Ed: Yeah...want to go to the dining car..?

Kane: uh...sure ^^

Ed: -lets go of her gently only to stand up and hold his hand out to her-

Kane: *takes his hand and pulls herself up carefully, ducking slightly to avoid hitting her head on the top of the bunk*

Ed: Are you hungry at all? Cause it's not like you have to come if you don't wanna ^^' I could always talk to Alfons.

Kane: ...*small smile* how does your past experience answer that question?

Ed: Well, you never know...

Kane: *thinks for a moment before shaking her head* Im not..particularly hungry at the moment, no....

Ed: Well, you don't have to come..

Kane: ...*nods* alright..I'll leave you two talk..*smiles*

Ed: -smiles and leans in to kiss her quickly- Alright..

Kane: *straightens and kisses him back* Just a moment, though. *steps forward and gives him a proper hug*

Ed: -oo-...-grins a bit and wraps his arms around her, hugging her back tightly <3-

Kane: *hugs him a bit tighter before letting go, looking up at him* I had to give you a proper hug...

Ed: I can live with that -smiles- -<3-

Kane: *smiles back* -<3- *reluctantly lets her arm drop from around his waist* I wont keep you any longer ^^

Ed: It's not like you're keeping me from anything too important..

Kane: well...food is technically important ^^

Ed: It's not as if I'm going to start because I stand here a few moments longer ^^

Kane: *grins* thats true...*looks up at him and raises her hand to gently brush her thumb against his jaw*

Ed: -rubs his hands over her sides slowly, leans in to kiss her forehead-

Kane: *blushes and closes her eyes when he kisses her, smiling some* I think thats something I couldnt have gone without...-hadInotcomeonthistrip-

Ed: We're just lucky neither of us have to...

Kane: yeah...*glances down before dropping her hand and looking up at him, smiling* ..definitely.

Ed: -kisses the tip of her nose softly- Yeah -smiles-

Kane: -perfectlycontenttojuststandtherewithyou,but- ...Im terrible with keeping you in one place before you go somewhere...*flushes slightly and grins sheepishly*

Ed: Do I seem in a rush to be off to you?

Kane: *grin grows some* no....and I shouldnt get in the habit of it, but Im happy for that...because it means I get to spend more time with you..

Ed: Don't worry about it, I don't mind..-^^-

Kane: makes me feel a bit better about keeping you, then ^^

Ed: Good -grins-

Kane: *smiles at him for a moment before glancing down and taking his right hand in hers gently, looks back up at him* I..actually probably could go for a cup of tea or something...d'you reckon Alfons would mind? *smiles again*

Ed: -lifts her hand and kisses the back of it gently-...I doubt it ^^

Kane: *smiles* I hoped not....*moves her thumb against the back of his hand gently*

Ed: I don't see why he would.

Kane: *shrugs a bit* nor do I. want to go?

Ed: Yes ^^'

Kane: Alright *smiles, closes her fingers a bit tighter around his hand and nods towards the door* you lead the way...

Kane: *follows him out*

Ed: -enters the dining car and looks around-

Alfons: *nomming a roll*

Kane: *follows Ed*

Ed: -sees Al and waves- Hey, Alfons ^^

Alfons: *looks up* Oh! Hey Ed, hey Kane ^^

Kane: -small smile- Hey...

Ed: Hey -smiles- How's the food?

Alfons: The rolls actually are pretty good ^^ Coffee's decent for being train coffee, too ^^ -alwaysfinds/something/ goodinstuffXD-

Ed: That's good..

Alfons: *nods and glances around for another chair before standing and pulling one forward, pushing it to their side of the table* I figure you two wouldnt want to be standing for however long you're here ^^

Ed: Oh, thanks ^^' -small laugh, sits down-

Kane: *slides into the seat next to Ed* thanks Alfons ^^

Alfons: *smiles* no problem. *picks a menu up from the windowsill next to them, offers one to both of them* here you go ^^

Ed: -takes it- Thanks..

Kane: *nods and flips through it*

Alfons: *looks out the window and eats his roll*

Ed: Did you try anything else?

Alfons: They make a good -insertsomethinghere- sandwich ^^

Ed: Okay, I think I'll try that

Alfons: *nods and smiles* what about you, Kane? ^^

Kane: uh...*looks at the menu and then him* I think Ill just have a tea ^^

Ed: You sure..?

Kane: .....yes? ^^'

Ed: Really?

Kane: ...if I eat a salad will you be satisfied?

Ed: Maybe..?

Kane: ...I dont think I could take more than a salad. Wouldnt finish anything else...

Alfons: *listening to them with an amused expression*

Ed: ...Fine >>

Kane: *shrugs a little*

Alfons: ....you could share a soup or something ^^' -justtryingtobehelpfulXD-

Ed: -looks at Kane, bit of a shrug-

Kane: ....if you can eat half a bowl of soup I could probably manage that....*small smile*

Ed: If there's a day I can't eat half a bowl of soup, someone had better call the coroner

Alfons: *chokes a bit on his coffee trying to stifle his laugh*

Kane: *laughs herself* Alright, alright...just making sure ^^ *smiles* any soup in particular appeal to you?

Ed: Nothing particular..

Kane: *looks back at the menu* ...what about Hochzeitssuppe? -basicallyItalianWeddingSoup, butGermanXD- *glances at him*

Ed: That works for me..

Kane: *nods some* alright

Alfons: Ill flag a waiter ^^ *does so*

Ed: -when waiter arrives, orders-

Kane: *watches the waiter go before looking out the window*

Alfons: so what are you two hoping to gain most from this trip? ^^

Ed: Anything and everything -small laugh-

Kane: same, pretty much

Alfons: *laughs a bit* well, being open-minded is always a good thing ^^

Ed: Yeah, it is..

Kane: *smiles and looks back out the window*

Alfons: Im glad I saw you in that bakery that night ^^ Otherwise it might have slipped my mind until the last minute.

Ed: I'm glad you did, too

Alfons: *nods and finishes his coffee* I cant wait to meet the men we'll be working with that are from other universities Dr. Oberth has taught at ^^ they're undoubtedly brilliant

Ed: Undoubtedly, I hope they don't mind out language abilities...

Alfons: *laughs* I dont think they will, no..

Ed: Let's hope not ^^

Alfons: *shakes his head* they'll probably help us learn faster, making us use it all the time

Ed: I hope so ^^

Waiter: *comes back with food and sets it down in front of Ed and Kane*

Kane: thanks ^^ -hesalreadygone,kay- *picks up the fork and starts eating the salad*

Ed: -glances at the waiter- Thanks..-reaches for his fork-

Alfons: *smiles and watches them for a moment* Im going to go look around some ^^ -differentcars= differentpeopleofinterestXD- Ill be back *pushes himself up and puts on his coat, walking out one of the doors*

Kane: *watches him go* ....he a people watcher or something?

Ed:...-shrugs a bit- I dunno

Kane: ...must be...not much else to do on a train besides sleep or read....*smiles a little before popping some lettuce in her mouth*

Ed: Yeah, I know, I've spent a lot of time on them -grins-

Kane: *smiles* I havent all too much...I rarely travel out of the city or one of the neighboring ones ^^

Ed: I've been on one well...a lot..

Kane: *continues eating her salad* how often did you travel..?

Ed:....All the time, more often than I was stationary.

Kane: ...*frowns* ....that doesnt sound too great.....

Ed:..It wasn't so bad -smiles-

Kane: well...I guess if you think that, then thats all that matters -small smile- -wasyourlifestyleanyway-

Ed: Right..-smiles a bit-

Kane: I only moved around alot..never anything I'd consider traveling...*smiles a bit and finishes her salad*

Ed:...Don't like it?

Kane: 's stressful.....to me anyway...

Ed: Oh.....

Kane: I think now it would just drive me crazy ^^' *smiles some*

Ed: Why's that..?

Kane: Because I've grown a disliking for being uprooted from something I habitually do, or some event that forces me to change my ways. *smiles some* A bit childish not to want change, I know, but...*shrugs* I like my habits how they are. *grins*

Ed: It's not unusual, I know people like that other than you, too..

Kane: *smiles a bit* good to know im not the only one..

Ed: No, you definitely aren't...

Kane: *lets her smile slide into a small grin before picking up her spoon and trying a bit of the soup* ...its pretty good ^^

Ed: That's good -smiles-

Kane: cant say it's on par with my uncle's but it will do...*grins some*

Ed: He's a good cook?

Kane: Yeah, he is ^^ He's gone so often though almost nobody knows.

Ed: Well, at least the first part of that is good..

Kane: he didnt used to be gone so often, but...*shrugs* he likes that sort of change *smiles* he's ambitious so anything that gets him closer to the top is great for him.

Ed: It surprised me that he moves so much and you don't like to..

Kane: *smiles* he managed to postpone the promotion to where he is now until after he knew I could take care of myself -aftereverything- for extended periods of time. I wasnt going to stop him from something he likes ^^

Ed: I didn't mean it like that..it's just..curious.

Kane: Oh -embarassedthatshewentoffonherowntangent XD- ..*flushes slightly* well, I guess you could say it is..*smiles some*

Ed: -smiles a little- Kane...why are you blushing?

Kane: uh ->>- well...generally when people blush they're embarassed about something...?

Ed: Yeah, generally...so why now?

Kane: because I misunderstood how you intended what you said so I went off in a nearly random direction...? ->//>-

Ed: So? -bumps her shoulder lightly- That's nothing..

Kane: ..*stays blushed* still though...->//>- *grins a little in spite of herself*

Ed: Really Kane, that's nothing to be embarassed over.

Kane: Ill try not to be as much, then..*grin grows slightly*

Ed: Okay, good

Kane: *blush fades as she smiles and takes a bit more of the soup* If I do it again though please let me know...? ^^

Ed: ...Sure, but why?

Kane: ...just so I know?

Ed: Yeah, okay.

Kane: *smiles a bit and takes a last bit of soup before setting her spoon down and sitting back in her chair, watching him through her bangs*

Ed: -goes back to nomming his sandwhich-

Kane: *props her elbow on the table and makes a relaxed fist, resting her jaw against her knuckles, watching him*

Ed: -finishes his sandwhich and pushes the plate away-

Kane: *takes her napkin out of her lap and starts folding it in a different way than it was originally*

Ed: -glances over at her, smiles a little-

Kane: *stands it upright and adjusts an edge or two* -itlookslikeaflowerc:-

Ed:...That's cool...

Kane: huh? *looks up at him* ....oh..*small smile* thanks...I just...like doing that for some odd reason...

Ed: -shrugs a bit- Everybody's got something

Kane: *holds the smile* I always make them look like flowers, dunno why that is either...^^

Ed: -bitofatease- Because you're a girl -grins-

Kane: hey...>> *tries to look displeased but winds up laughing* that might just be it...

Ed: Probably ^^' -laughs-

Kane: *gives him a gentle poke* I bet if you asked me to identify a flower, I couldnt, though ^^ -mostgirlscouldXD-

Kane: ....-gettingthatvibeaswellXD- ...*smiles some* I might not be able to identify flowers but I know I can identify stars and constellations ^^

Kane: I dont know all too many people that could do that other than well-known ones

Ed: It seems like something people should know..

Kane: it should be, but so many dont ->>-

Kane: it is...the cosmos is so interesting..-<3-

Kane: *smiles* at least you and Alfons know that -<3-

Ed: Yeah, that's true...

Ed: -picks up his spoon and dips into the soup-

Kane: ....*finishes her tea and looks at the cup* ...Ill be back...*pushes herself up and looks at him* I'm going to get another cup of tea...

Ed: Alright, Kane..

Kane: *gives him a small smile before walking to the tender behind the counter, orders and watches him as he starts heating water for another batch*

Guy: *walks into the car, looks around, spots Kane and walks over, and leans on the counter* What is someone as pretty as yourself doing in this car alone? -charmsmileplease-

Ed: -eating soup-

Kane: .....Im not alone.... -?-

Guy: *makes a bit of a show of looking around* Really? I dont see anybody with you...

Ed: --glances up-...?

Kane: -Idontlikeyou>>- I'm not alone, bug off ->>- *turns back to the counter* -hurryandbrewdamnit>>-

Guy: *moves a bit closer and rests his hand on her shoulder* Aww, come on sweetie, dont be like that...

Ed: -whatthefrick?- -stands up-

Kane: *flinches away from his touch and ducks away from his arm* dont touch me....*raises her arm somewhat protectively in front of her ribcage*

Guy: *steps forward* Calm down...you dont want to make a scene, do you?

Ed: -starts towards them-

Kane: You're the one making a scene...*curls lip*

Tender: ...leave her alone, buddy...-sheobviouslyisntinterested>>-

Guy: *raises his hand to her jaw* youre prettier when you're annoyed...

Ed: -comes up to them- Hey, who the hell are you?

Kane: Ed! -imagineaninsta-clingXD-

Guy: *drops his hand abruptly, glares at Ed* My name is Shaun. What does it matter to you? -damn>>-

Ed: -wraps his arm around Kane's waist- Because, Shaun, if you don't beat it your gonna get a face full of fist.

Shaun: ....*curls his lip and looks at Kane for a moment before Ed* theres other girls that are more worth getting a fist in my face for. *turns and saunters off*

Kane: *curls her fingers into Ed's shirt, watches him go with narrowed eyes*

Ed: Fuck you -kicks him in the butt after he turns around-

Shaun: *stumbles and turns sharply when he's kicked, turns around with his fist raised* What the hell is your problem?!

Kane: ...-ohdear...-

Ed: She's certainly worth more than your face, idiot -.-

Shaun: *curls his lip and punches out at Ed*

Ed: -ducks and kicks out at his legs-

Kane: *backs away as quickly as possible to get out of the way* -dontgethurt,Ed:c-

Shaun: *falls flat on his face* bastard!

Tender: *walks around from the counter and picks Shaun up by the scruff of his shirt* ...you're a troublemaker. I didnt like the sight of you when you stuck your head in this car. leave them be and go to the other side of the car if you want something. If not, leave. *drops him*

Ed: -watches the tender a bit surprised-....

Shaun: ....feh. *picks himself up* anything here is probably crap anyway....*leaves*

Kane: *walks back over to Ed and watches him go -forrealthistimeXD-* ......

Tender: *rolls his eyes and places a cup of tea on the counter* here's your tea, miss...

Ed:..Thanks.

Kane: *nods some* ...yeah...*looks at Ed and nods back towards the table they were sitting at before reaching for the cup and carrying it over*

Tender: *shrugs* the idiot was causing an unneccesary rukus. doesnt need to be disturbing any more passengers than he was. *goes back to work*

Ed: Right....-takes Kanes arm gently- You alright?

Kane: *waits until she sets her tea on the table before turning and giving him a hug, resting the side of her face against his chest, closing her eyes* -IdontlikepeopleIdontknow, thatwasjustcreepy><-

Ed: Kane...are you okay...?

Kane: yeah...im fine >< *hugs a bit tighter*

Ed: I'm sorry about that..

Kane: I dont even know what he was doing -><- all I know is that he touched my jaw...*shudders* -voiceslightlyhigherpitched, still quiet- and that was just creepy -D8><-

Ed: Shh..sh..I'm so sorry..

Kane: 's not like its your fault...-butew><-

Ed: Not the point..

Kane: *sort of nestles more against him* ...thank you, though...

Ed: I'm sorry that happened...

Kane: *manages to relax a bit* its fine...but what was he even doing? -besidesbeingacreeper>>-

Kane: ......*blinks and pulls back to look at him* ..-weak laugh- ...what?

Ed: Hitting on you.

Kane: .......*simply stares at him, blinking occasionally* .......why..?

Ed: Because..?

Ed: Because you're pretty..?

Kane: ...*blushes* ....are you sure he wasnt just stupid?

Ed: Well...he /was/ stupid but that's not the point..

Kane: ....*after a moment gives a small smile* unfortunately for him, but luckily for me...I have you...and I wouldnt ask for anybody else...

Ed: -blushes-...Thanks...

Kane: *lets her smile grow a little and raises her hand to his cheek, gently brushing her thumb against his skin* -hischeek'sallwarmc:-

Ed: -nuzzles gently into her hand-

Kane: -afteramoment- bend down slightly, will you?

Ed:..Okay -leans down slightly-

Kane: I love you...-<3- *kisses him gently*

Ed: -kisses her back softly- I love you, too...

Kane: *smiles softly and gently drapes her arm around the back of his neck in a hug*

Ed: -wraps his arms around her waist, hugging her gently <3-

Kane: -couldstandhereforever<33- -after a few minutes- the soup's probably getting cold...*smiles a bit*

Ed: Probably ^^' -small laugh-

Kane: *drops her hand down to his chest and pulls back slightly to look up at him*

Kane: alright ^^ *turns to face the table and sits, taking the cup of tea in her hands*

Ed: -sits back down and picks up his spoon-

Ed: -goes back to soup eattery-

Kane: *finishes her tea and wipes her mouth*

Ed: -after a bit finishes the soup and puts his spoon aside-

Kane: *glances at him* you ready...?

Kane: *sits down on her bunk once they're in the room, sighs somewhat and yawns*

Ed: -followed her in-...Are you tired?

Kane: eh...*shrugs somewhat* a bit...

Ed: Maybe you should rest..

Kane: ...its like...five, though...

Ed: So..?

Kane: if I rest now I'll be awake later when I should be sleeping....

Ed: Not neccesarily..

Kane: ...probably..? besides Im not -small yawn- ......that tired? >>

Ed: You look tired to me..

Kane: ...guess I am ->>- dunno why...

Ed: The stress of travel?

Kane: ...possibly. I dont travel very often...*leans against the side of the bunk looking at him*

Ed: You really should rest...

Kane: ....I guess...-looks at him a bit like 'sitwithme?'-

Ed: -smiles a little-...-sits down next to her- It would be smart

Kane: *sighs some and scoots to the side a bit, turns and picks her legs up and lays them straight on the bed before laying back carefully, looking up at him and smiling*

Ed: -blushes a little but stays smiling, lays his hand gently on her head, stroking her hair-

Kane: *smiles and manages to push herself a bit more towards him, shaking her head slightly to move her bangs*

Ed: You can sleep if you'd like...

Kane: I might fall asleep on you...I apologize in advance if I do....

Ed: I don't mind, I said it was okay...-smiles <3-

Kane: *smiles herself and closes her eyes, relaxing a bit when she does so*

Ed: -continues stroking her hair slowly, watching her-

Alfons: *opens the door and steps inside, stopping when he sees them* ....-gives a small smile-

Kane: *lets out a small sigh*

Ed: -looks up when he hears the door, gives him a bit of a wave-

Alfons: *small wave back, hangs his coat over the edge of the bed* ....-quietly- she tired?

Ed: -nods, still lightly stroking her hair- Yeah...stress of travel, we think

Alfons: *nods* it can do that to people...*smiles* I'll just grab my book and be out of here so I dont disturb you two ^^ *starts rooting around in his suitcase*

Ed: It's okay, you don't have to go..

Alfons: if you say so...^^ *gets his book and crawls up into his bunk, lets his legs dangle over as he curves over to start reading, glancing at them occasionally*

Ed: -looks back down at Kane, running his fingers lightly over her forehead-

Kane: -asleep, hand twitches slightly-

Alfons: *watching them*

Ed: -leans back slightly staring off into space, thinking-

Alfons: -afterabit- we should arrive around ten tomorrow morning, I heard someone saying ^^

Ed: Oh, that's good ^^'

Alfons: Yeah....I hope we can find wherever we're staying alright...I dont want to imagine being lost in an unfamiliar place ^^'

Ed: -laughs a little- That would be...interesting

Alfons: I doubt it would be fun at all...but we'd probably get more familiar with streets and such

Ed: -looks up at him, tiny grin- It can be fun..

Alfons: No..->>- Dr. Oberth drew me a rough map on the back of his directions, but he did it in pen...and they sort of smudged ->>- so the path he recommended isnt as obvious as it could be ->>-

Kane: cant tell for certain, but...I /think/ we're gonna wind up taking three lefts and then a right. The first looks like its anywhere from two to five blocks from here, the one after that looks to be more than five blocks long, then the third more than that, but the right is shorter like the first left. I just cant read anything he wrote on the paper -professorchickenscratchontopofsmudge>>- like names...or any exact distances...

Ed: Hey, Kane...?

Ed: You're looking at it upside down.

Kane: I dont know for sure how far to go, Im just guessing based on what little I was able to make out from the map

Alfons: *studying the menu* ...the...salad and other vegetables are the two columns at the top...meat and fish the two in the middle, and cheese at the bottom....I think....the dishes get heavier the further down the list they're placed...

Ed: -pulls his suitcase towards himself and flips it open, pulling out the books on top-

Alfons: *takes the clothes back to the closet and hangs them up, walks back to his suitcase and gets the couple of ties he brought as well as an overcoat, hang those up as well*

Ed: -finishes stacking his books and pulls out two sets of clothes-

Alfons: *takes out a couple of books of his own and places them on his bedside table, unpacks a belt and a pair of shoes, puts them in the closet as well*

Ed: -carries his stuff over to the dresser and tosses the clothes in-...I think that's all

Kane: *makes a quiet, content sound and kisses him until she needs to breathe, pulls back slightly and tilts her forehead against his*

Kane: *smiles a bit* better now that I've kissed you...

Kane: Yeah...*smiles and brushes her thumb against his skin*

Kane: I'd prefer to limit the number of times I go up and down stairs..

The book was called Die Freigabe der Vernichtung Lebensunwerten Lebens (Allowing the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Life)” and was written by a jurist and a psychiatrist. They basically listed the ideas of who they classified as “unworthy of life” (in this book it was more of mentally ill, political dissidents, mentally and physically disabled individuals, homosexuals, interracial couples, and criminals.)


The Nazi’s added some clergy, Communists, Jews, Romani people, Jehovah's Witnesses, non white, ethnic poles, etc.

By the end of the day, Kane left the lab without telling Alfons where she was going, and Ed has been gone since earlier. Upon arriving at the hotel to nobody, Alfons tries looking for them

Kane: *shakes her head* 's not. *loosens her grip and stands back slightly, nods towards her room* after you...-thunder- makes a sound comparable to a squeak and starts somewhat*

Ed:.....-goes in-

Kane: *follows him in, closing the door behind her*

Ed: -stands in a puddle-

Kane: You can make yourself comfortable... *locks door* I uh...*walks towards him, looking around* know theres towels in the bathroom....you need to dry off...you might catch a cold...

Kane: Uh...*thinks for a moment, going to her closet* ....I...have a pair of...boy's trousers and a couple of my uncle's shirts...-thathereplaced- ....not sure how they'd fit...

Kane: *quickly slips out of her dress and into the trousers, and an undershirt with the shirt half draped over her shoulders with her left arm through the length of the sleeve, pulls the other side tight against her body, sits on the bed looking at her dress for a moment before starting to button it up*

Ed: -comes out of the bathroom-..Shirt didn't fit.

Kane: *looks up at him* -00- *flushes deeply* Uh...*swallows before pushing herself up, pulling the shirt against her side when she walks over to him, holds her hand out* I-I can take it then...*failing very much at hiding the fact that she's staring*

Ed:..Thanks, anyway -small smile-

Kane: *looks up and gives him a bit of a smile in return* its no problem...better than leaving you in wet clothes...*takes the shirt and goes to hang it up*

Ed: -shifts his shoulders a little so it'll fall off, looking down at her silently-

Ed: -blushes deeper, shivering slightly-....r..right.

Kane: *stares at him before looking up into his eyes* I'll be right back...*walks into the bathroom and comes out holding a towel, bunches it over her hand before slowly starting to dry off his shoulders*

Ed: -trying not to explode, not sure what to do with his hands, either-...

Kane: -dried off his shoulders- *skips the leather strap and starts drying his lower chest, abdomen and sides*

Ed: -watches her a moment longer, chews the inside of his lip a bit nervously before moving his hands beneath her overshirt and around her waist, pulling her into a kiss-

Kane: -oo!- *shirt falls off her shoulders and stays on simply because of her left arm being through the sleeve, steps towards him and kisses him back, resting her hand against his chest, towel falling to the crook of her arm*

Ed: -kisses her slowly, clasping his hands behind her lower back, sighing softly-

Kane: *kisses him back deeply, smiling into the kiss, moving her thumb gently against his skin*

Ed: -pulls back gently when he needs to breathe, looking down at her, moving his fingers lightly against her back-

Kane: *looks up at him and gently moves her hand up to his jaw* I love you....

Kane: *smiles softly and pulls him towards her into another kiss*

Ed: -kisses her back deeply, moving his hands up her back lightly, pulling her against himself-

Kane: *nods some* figured..I should ask...*begins drying off the brace and the upper part of his arm*

Ed:...You don't have to...

Kane: *looks up at him and finishes drying his arm off, smiles slightly* I'll...keep that in mind...

Ed: Okay...-gives her a small smile-

Kane: *nods a bit* that should be a bit better for you, at least... *puts the towel back in the bathroom before walking back to him*

Ed: -reaches down and adjusts the shirt, bringing it back to her shoulders, small smile-

Kane: *blinks and looks down* ....*blushes some* ...I didnt even notice that...

Ed: It's fine...

Kane: *pulls the shirt a bit a bit more snug around her shoulders before curling her fingers against the leather strap across her chest, looks up at him* thanks. *smiles slightly*

Ed: I'm fine, don't worry about it..

Kane: 'course im..gonna worry...*smiles a little* dont want you getting sick...

Kane: *shifts a bit closer to her pillow and pulls the blanket closer against her hip before pulling the legs of the trousers up*

Ed: -still staring at ground-

Kane: *quickly removes both prosthetics and unrolls the legs of the trousers so they fall normally, pushes hereslf a bit further onto the bed, turns slightly to lean against the headboard, stares up at the ceiling* ..... -blush slowly rises in her cheeks as she realizes she's essentially about to sleep with her boyfriend-

Ed: -glances over at her-..Want me to get the lights..?

Kane: *blinks and looks at him* uh...*glances to the side before looking back at him* yes, please...

Ed: Okay..-stands up and goes to turn them off-

Kane: *watches him* thanks....*pulls the covers over her legs but stays in an upright position*

Ed: -switches of the lights- No problem...

Kane: *blinks a number of times to get her eyes adjusted, re-focuses on his figure* right...
